This is so fucking christmassy. it's completely DRIPPING christmas. well done.
Thank you so much I really appreciate it
this is really well done! you evoked the feeling of the artwork astonishingly well. also the ending is really the cherry on top haha
Thank you so much! :)
I think you nailed the aesthetic of the inspiration. My concern lies in the fact that by being so laid back and kindof melancholic, it drags on and gets a little repetitive. Good luck in AIM!
The track originally ended around the 1:51 mark, I thought this was allowed since my submission for a previous AIM was below 3 Minutes. I ended up not finding this out until my free time became restricted due to comissioned work.
I sat down and slapped together the drums, vocal chops, and some other bits and pieces to create a second section that's essentially the entire first section but reverse. I wanted to try to invoke the feeling of remembering a feeling and then returning to it, like how the image coud be seen as someone viewing a town from the outside, capturing it's memories and their own memories of living there, before returning to it with those feelings lingering.
This is really pretty! I love all the sounds! The only critique I have is that I want the mix to be a little heavier and darker for the sake of balance.
Thanks MYYA! Unfortunately I’m not entirely sure what you mean by a heavier and darker mix, but you’re comment is appreciated nonetheless. Track 2 drops in 45 minutes!
LOVE this composition and your choice of sounds
LOVE your enthusiasm! :D
duuuude my atoms are getting totally scrampled rn
Relatable experience fs
So glad this is FINALLY done <3
Yeah, same here!
That clavi-sounding melody thing at the beginning when the beat comes in rubs me in all the right ways. That shit is so minimal but it grooves HARD.
I can't remember the instrument, but I'm pretty sure I used the Beat Repeat on live 11, which is fun to play around with!
Thank you for the second review in a row! :D
I like how sparse this piece sounds. It sounds like it belongs to an RPG set on an alien planet :0
Hey!
I'm really glad that it sounds this way to you!
thank you for your review :)
